Traditionally, the Sofia International Literary Festival program offers an intensive, all-day program with various highlights and interesting meetings, both for children and their parents, during the weekend. Conversations, open workshops and creative writing studios are in focus, in which everyone can recognize their literary “temptations”. Save June 1st (Saturday) and June 2nd (Sunday) from now on to walk between the pages of your favorite children’s books, to look at the colors of the illustrations and to enter into the adventurous spirit of the characters.
International Children’s Day, June 1st at the Sofia International Literary Festival for Children and Youth will begin at 10:15 with a Book Cover Workshop, inspired by an exhibition of covers by Lyuben Zidarov, presented by Egmont Publishing House. Veliana Simeonova from the blog “Two with Mom” will take care of the cheerful spirit of the little readers and their parents. The company will be “joined” by Tom Sawyer, the characters from “Treasure Island” and many more beloved literary characters, with whom to create an unforgettable book start to the holiday day!
The program continues with:
Meeting and conversation with Vladimir Shishkov and Dr. Lyudmila Emilova, presented by “Eunikata” publishing house;
“Magic or Science?” with Stan and Steffi from 12:00, presented by “Egmont”;
The meeting and conversation with Miroslava Scarlatou, a Greek writer of Bulgarian origin, will be from 14:00;
The afternoon program on the festive June 1st of the festival continues with Presentation of the book “Mish and Mash” by Anita Tarasevich with illustrations by Nadezhda Katsarova from 15:00, in partnership with “Hermes” publishing house
