The largest children's and youth library "Internationalen Jugendbibliothek" (Munich) presented its calendar for 2018. It is aimed at children from all over the world, as it combines works in a variety of languages. The title page of a drumming cat and mice dancing around it is by the Danish artist Lilian Brøgger. She invites all children, parents, grandparents, and all kinds of relatives and friends to look at this international calendar together, in which over 30 authors participate. Each work is the work of a writer and illustrator from a specific country, and the poem is also translated into German by a third participant - the translator. A total of 52 texts find their place in the luxury edition, among which we find countries such as China, Iran, Russia and Bulgaria.
The native participation is in the person of Viktor Samuilov and Yana Levieva, who take over the baton in the first week of June. The poem is "Aunt's Slippers," and the illustrations are executed in the playful tone of the short text.
