“BE DONE!” is the first solo exhibition of the young illustrator Elena Nazarova. In the exhibition she will present graphics, illustrations and her personal book ‘VAISAKHA’.
“There are things that we keep unconsciously. Information of all types that our intuition has deemed important. Visual information, memories, sensations, even material objects. We keep them only for ourselves, without even wondering why, and when a long time passes and they remain completely preserved, we begin to accept them as something connected. Somehow we know that it is so, and this gradually becomes something personal… A kind of characteristic…
The exhibition of graphics and illustrations, the core of which is a collection of objects that will also be exhibited, the book I made and everything else that you will be able to see are part of a long, consistent process.
In addition to the ‘final’ result of my project, within the event I will try to unfold and reveal this entire process, and all the sketches, notebooks, readings and drafts preceding it will be completely accessible.”
