The exhibition "Cloud, Shadow" by illustrator Kapka Kaneva includes large-format photographs of paper objects created for the covers of classical or contemporary literary works. The graphic selection brings together illustrations for poetry collections, as well as a series of experiments with the plasticity of paper clouds, which have been the author's concern lately.

The clouds are also present in the exhibition in the form of plastic originals. The audience will see them, along with other paper sculptures, for the first time.

Paper, scissors and directed light, thanks to which the viewer interprets the plastics and their cast shadows as drawings, are the main means of expression of the artist, who has been teaching at the National Academy of Arts for several years.

During the "European Night of Museums", which will be held on May 19, Kapka Kaneva will present her youngest fans and their parents with another look at her work. High-quality prints of the illustrations from Mark Twain's book "Advice to Little Girls", published by "List" Publishing House, printed in a single copy, signed by the author, will be on display. Visitors will be able to meet and talk with the artist.
