The exhibition "Bulgarian Design Review 2019" brings together in one place the achievements and good ideas of Bulgarian designers, teams and agencies from the last year in various categories such as graphic design, branding and identity, product design, ceramics, interactive design, illustration, animation, fashion and textiles, social design and others. The over 30 selected examples of valuable and already realized achievements in design are a vivid memory in the collective memory of the current state of Bulgarian visual culture.

This is a subjective and non-comprehensive view on the topic of Bulgarian design. It is difficult to present everything that has happened in the last year. Rather, we are making a respectful and modest attempt to compile a mix that will plausibly convey the state of the discipline in our country at this moment. Similar to the MELBA online archive, here we deliberately seek to mix the spheres and reveal their diverse influence on our lives.
