On March 10, 2017 at 7:00 PM, the discussion “Readers, Bloggers, Critics – the Meeting (Im)possible” was held at the “Pen” club. The heated conversation was attended by literary critics Vladimir Trendafilov and Yordan Eftimov; bloggers Milena Tasheva and Desislava Zheleva; writers Momchil Nikolov and Vasil Georgiev; moderator: Georgi Angelov – journalist and translator. The event was opened by Stefka Angelova (IC Krugozor and Vschisto za knibite). The conversation mainly focused on the types of media and their quality and legitimacy in the face of proven literary mainstays such as Kultura and Literaturen Vestnik versus the easy and accessible form of the Internet space and social networks. Expected or not, the conversation quickly “fired up”. In the end, most of the participants were left with the impression that the meeting was NOT possible.
