If you are a lover of art with socially significant messages and are excited about civil society issues – challenge yourself and participate in the wake-up artists’ competition CIVIL ALARM CLOCK of the Bulgarian Center for Nonprofit Law.
By May 26, send us your author’s photographs, illustrations or texts that tell about:
>>> the impactful power of civil association for common causes,
>>> the energy of protests and the people in them,
>>> the meaning of freedom of speech and the fight for it.
CATEGORIES
Authors can participate in any of the 3 categories: “Photography”, “Illustration”, “Text”. The works will be reviewed and evaluated by a jury of prominent professionals and cultural figures in the respective category.
AWARDS
The most impactful and relevant works will be awarded with symbolic prizes and a cash prize for first place in each category in the amount of 250 BGN.
The wider selection of works will be included in a special exhibition and publicly presented in July 2019.

The competition is implemented within the framework of the project “CIVIL ALARM – children create rights”, implemented by the Bulgarian Center for Non-Profit Law. The project is funded by the “Culture” Program of the Sofia Municipality for 2019.
