A look that seeks and discovers, a look that speaks and connects us. Different perspectives towards new horizons.
The exhibition “Views” is the first solo exhibition of the illustrator and director of animated films Silvia Ivanova. It brings together diverse works from Silvia’s work – book illustrations, covers, character development, games, projects for cards, T-shirts, digital paintings and visual searches. Most of the canvases were created in the last few years, but a small part represents the artist’s early work. Similar themes and motifs find their realization over time, sometimes dressed in color, sometimes in black and white texture, marked by geometric shapes and bold silhouettes.

The exhibition presents the author's personal emotional searches, while also showing her love for children's illustration. A large part of the realized projects are aimed specifically at young and adolescent viewers.
Silvia has been involved in art since early childhood. She graduated in animation at the New Bulgarian University and worked as an organizer of the "World Animation Film Festival" Varna in five of the festival's editions. In 2017, she completed her debut animated film "Midnight Elegy", which was presented at over 30 international forums. During this period, Silvia was part of the Kontur Creative studio, known for its stylish book covers.
After over 10 years of work in the field of animation preproduction, character design and motion graphics, Silvia founded Studio Opus - an animation and illustration studio. She is an illustrator of a number of books, board games and participates in numerous exhibitions. Currently, Silvia is professionally involved in the integration of animation elements in social networks. On a personal level, she prefers projects with a cause - mainly in aid of animals.
