For the sixth consecutive year, the thematic month of March of Bulgarian folklore tales @bulgarianfolktales is being organized. For the second year, the National Ethnographic Museum - BAS is partnering with the organizers, helping in the selection of increasingly mystical topics.
This was shared by Petya Evlogieva, one of the organizers of the online event.

Diseases, troubles, death are topics as eternal as life. Every nation has its own explanation and gives them shape. In everyday life, language, religion, the specific features of the Bulgarian are visible, deeply preserved in traditions and self-awareness.
This year we will tell you about them in images!

Herbalism, for its part, has brought a cure and relief for so many ailments that we decided to add light and hope to each weekly topic!

You can choose to paint on the theme of the disease or just the herbs, you can combine or contrast them. Everything here is just one direction and a unifying element for us to create together! Be brave and provoke yourself!
